I’ve combined the ease of garter stitch stripes with big rhombus lace in a unique trapezoid shape that creates a bold geometric statement accessory. Starting with just five stitches, this pattern gives you the best of relaxation knitting, then expands into big repeats of lace that open up the shawl across your back, it’s then followed by another relaxing decrease section back down to five stitches. You’ll be racing to complete your shawl and start another!

Olive Yarn Bella Sock is 420 yards according to the ball band, I used three skeins - one of each color.

For a two color version you’d need two skeins for the outer parts, and one skein for the middle part.

Finished dimensions: Approximately 98 inches from tip to tip and 24 inches from bottom to top after wet blocking.

Steam blocking or wet blocking is recommended to fully open up the middle lace section.
